varying colours of life...

Its my life!!
I wonder how such human beings live without a slight thinking that others too have their own life.
some people think that their spouse and off-springs obey them out of respect ad love, but it is sad that they even die without knowing that they obeyed his/her commands only out of fear and they dont have even minimum respect for them.
The indecent intrusion into other's life starts early at the morning itself and extends till night by asking "didnt you sleep?why the light is on?....",some body sleeps at some time, what is your problem, are they sitting in your eyes?
They always live in an illusion and imagination that they are leading and controlling the home in a great way!
such people are unaware that they are sowing seeds of hatred on other's mind and growing it into a big tree day by day. They tend to decide what others should eat, where they must go...and all private affairs of others. The usual dialouge heared in indian homes is "you dont want that".
In some big families about 20-30 persons adjust to satisfy the oldest authouritative person in the family, aren't such persons performing directorship in the home are ashamed to be life-long hurdles to the happiness of their own relations?
whoever it is,a person have their own life to live!!
Respect should be given to others privacy and rights, and there will be no conflicts if all people live their own life.

The oldest art on earth

The joy of creation is the purpose of art.The only creation which gives pleasure to all our senses is cooking.A person who knows to eat must know to cook, thats the basic knowledge needed to live.
I started my cooking venture pretty late,at the age of 16,i remember it was a new year day.I just decided to cook because i was bored eating the old stuff, nobody was around except a servant maid who was constantly giggling on seeing what i was doing.I had a discussion with a friend and came up with an innovative idea of adding potato chips to a gravy of odd vegetables.I had starting troubles, but i was able to mix many things and kindle, which is probably the most essential ability for a cook, that dish was a success and i was doing only that occasionaly for the next one year.
After that i began collecting many recipe books and articles in magazines and i often take them and read, but won't do anything.i think most people are like that.after a while i developed interest to do a thing named kachori,as read in a book,it involves frying the dry fruits and stuffing in wet bread and then frying,i love challenges,so i took up this,as i drowned the bread in the water,it dissolved into pieces.I had a tough time in making it into a shape, after several hours of trial,i finished it,and i bite it,then only i realized that the salt in the bread went alongside with the water,we ate some pieces, and the remaining slept in the fridge before reaching its destination-the dustbin!
Exactly two weeks after that,i wanted to do something healthy,so i grinded amla and mixed it with turmeric powder and parched rice(it sounds silly no,i read about it in a leading magazine!),that was terrible and immediately thrown away...another day i plunged into action of doing fruit salad,i mixed the custard powder in boiling milk and lost myself in the unknown territory of thoughts, but my hands kindling it,after a while,i took it away to the table, only to see it becoming like cake,i inserted apple pieces on it,and told every one that it was custard apple!
once i even called my friends with confidence on my cooking skills,i planned to do fried rice, which took many forms and finally became egg rice.
I try my hand in many such things like cutlet, rolls atleast once a month,i believe practice gives perfection.I hate doing the same things everyday, doing everything with a difference and variety adds spice to life.

A cup of dreams on a cool morning

the sun trying to wake up from its bed
spreading the beam of glory
on my greener friends, making
them more beautiful and
the golden rays peeping through
my breezy window,
a flower blossoms on my soul
and blooms in my garden,
wearing a pearl of dew ;
i was sipping a cup of dreams;
sometimes silence sounds better,
but only until the melody of a bird
pierces the air and reaches the heart;
yes,morning is beautiful and joyous,
anywhere in the world!

who saves whose dignity?

yesterday i had a strange happening in life.
i sat at the edge of the seat and was chatting with a friend, the bus was crowded with full of men,one man was standing beside me,...just standing,he didn't do anything, but two other men started shouting at him -"how can you stand near a women, move that side.....etc",that broke out into a big fight, every body in the bus gave me a indifferent look, those men shouted at me-" these girls don't know to protect the family's dignity....etc"(i cant tell those words).
To make the matters worse they also got down at my stopping, and scolded me for a long time at the middle of the road!i didn't know how to react.
These things mainly happen due to male dominant thinking. All males i have come across in life tried to control me in any way.as a human being,I hate others imposing their ideas and principles on me,but even unknown people do that because i am a woman.
first of all,i have my own definition of dignity, which is different from the other men,i don't think one's dignity will be spoiled by mere touching of a person of opposite gender, dignity lies in one's thinking and his/her mindset.
people who believe in physical dignity may follow untouchability, but why compelling others? It is funny to see the custom of men sitting near men,and women sitting near women. Those people are indirectly indicating that women should not come out of the house, but that is totally impossible, its like trying to build dam on the ocean.
so let us not follow the customs because it is old,let us build new a way of life, after all, only dead fishes swim along the stream.

The Testing Time
Usually ability or even fate of a person is determined by the performance in the exams.every one in the world have experienced the exam blues.
I wonder how so many months of experience and learning is judged within a few hours.Exams tests the threshold level of a person to a maximum extent. As every other student in India i have experienced those testing times during the school leaving examinations, people around yell at us even when we take a few minutes extra to dressup or in hair do,the highest heard sentence at that period of life is"you are wasting time"its embrassing to hear others saying even conversing with friends a waste of time!but most often we do that thing in the school or study centres,i think most often people who lead a normal life at any situation achieve better, but the surrounding fellows create an emergency situation artificially and play havoc in our lives.
All possible kinds of advices and threats are put into our ears and our mind is pressurized.some rare and gifted children behave appropriately and bring out the best in them.people who are naturally studious alone excel in tests, any performance can never be induced by an external force, all great things in any field arises due to internal capabilities.
some may not have the inner capacity to do well in exams, they may have their mind locked in other things, but all men and women, indiscriminately are supposed to study the same things,i don't know how does these things work, with same types of questions given to a cross section of students irrespective of their attitudes and aptitudes.
The performance at important exams echoes at various points of our lives, and the time of declaration of our scores is even worser than the exam itself, which is followed revaluation,a process of paying our money for the mistake done by others!
I enjoyed writing exams upto a certain age, thinking of the holidays and the old pals, but as time evolved i started to think beyond the holidays and the results, and there was nothing to enjoy,we lose our happiness as age increases.
I can remember every time i sat for the examination, and the previous night mindsets, but i find no words to explain such sceptic situations,
Its a mixed feeling, and no doubt that every one of us are made to compete with certain people for the only reason that we have the same age!

The fading rainbow

-the famous and beautiful saying about friendship, but people forget all rainbows fade away after the rain stops.
friendship is nothing but a bundle of expectations.when we say the word friendship ,everyone get reminded of the proverb-"A friend in need is a friend indeed",but it expresses total selfishness, does one develops friendship only to get help in need?its impossible to have a friend without any expectations, atleast we expect them to be affectionate.
All friends become a stranger one day, close friendship is just an illusion, conflicts
arise in same proportion as closeness.
Expecting our friends to understand our problems is total madness,no body could explore our problems other than ourself, even some people dont like if their friends talk about their problems.
learning to live includes learning to live without friends.
Being friendly and approachable by all is a lifeskill, but being a true and good friend is the most difficult skill to acquire.
friends leave us even if we change slightly,is there any change-tolerant friend in the world?,ironically they are bored if we don't change.
No relationship is permanent,so let us expect less and live happily.

brain or hands?
People say-"hard work is the secret of success",
but there is no meaning for hard work.Successful people derive pleasure in what they do,how can working for one's own interests and pleasures become hard work?
Its just a work!! it may appear hard to others.
Intelligence is the key to success.
Intelligent people explore what can bring best out of them and work on it.
there was a story -once upon a time ,a king suddenly liked green colour most and asked the painters to paint the whole palace in green, the painters worked hard and could not complete even half, one day a small boy came on the way and enquired about it,he said -"why cant the king wear a green cooling glass?and the whole world will appear green "there stands the intelligence. Intelligence can do the things in minutes what hard work does in weeks. even though working upon is needed to use the intelligence,
work become useless, without using one's mind.you will all be well familiar with yet another story of a man trying to build a bridge, just picking the sand and throwing in the river, its also a very hard work, but it is useless, dissolved in the water.
Truly intelligent people are never lazy and would not fail,
their mind follows their desires and ultimately they reach what their talent deserves them.

I am a book worm

always a pen is mightier than a sword.no media can beat books,
and of course i am a book worm.
I am proud to tell this.I would forget the world, friends and every possible things when i get a good book to read.No matter what i get from it,just mere reading gives immense pleasure.
people advice to follow the books, but books are for reading and understanding other's concepts, and not to follow the contents.Every one has their own ideas and convictions and of course everyone has a writer inside one's self.
if everybody begins to follow the primary school advice-"be kind to others" or
"love thy neighbours",there will be no conflicts in the world.
The fact of every individual thinking differently gives seeds to new books
and of course new writers.
Reading books is one's inborn habit, but people soon forget it due to intrusion of other media.
so let us read books and understand world better.
out of focus

i just started this blog to express my world to the world.
despite being a student, studies are out of focus of my mind.
the greatest disadvantage of living in india,is the custom to study something and hold a degree.most often people study without any focus on their field, just like me.
blogging is the better option to relieve from doing those out of focus activities.
i believe in destiny, and i must be destined to get something better in the future.
i am waiting for that.
